Van can’t stand a cheater. So when he accidentally walks in on the groom and Maid of Honor before his coach’s daughter’s wedding, he has to put a stop to it. Understandably, the bride-to-be wants nothing more than to get out of there and, lucky for her, Van has a car.

I love the Appies!!!! And I loved reading Van’s story! I’ve been looking forward to reading it since A Groom of One’s Own. Van is the best kind of friend to Eli so we learned a bit about him in that book. Van is many things on the surface: mouthy, charming, a flirt, maybe even a bit of a trouble maker in some people’s eyes… but underneath that he is so much more. I loved reading his story after seeing him (and the persona he leans into) in the previous Appies books. I couldn’t help but fall in love with him the moment we learn he’s a reader (which is around page 37, so pretty early on). The storyline was adorable, and you know I love all the characters in Harvest Hollow. I loved Van’s sisters and the hilarious banter they had going on. Of course, the team’s banter was so much fun to read as well. I couldn’t put this book down. Amelia had a lot going on in her head with the wedding-that-almost-was, and there were moments where I felt like her inner monologue was getting out of control. But she had a lot of feelings to sort through. I loved who Amelia was with Van. I cannot recommend the Appies books enough! They have brought me so much joy as a reader of clean romance!
