After striking a dangerous deal to save both of their lives, Grigg and Adelina find themselves on an impossible quest. They must retrieve several secrets from the Jester of Fates and the King of the Wind. While searching for the Jester, they come across some strange occurrences and end up somewhere they never expected.

I absolutely loved Oath of Odds! I will admit that I liked this one better than the first book. I think I liked it better since I already understood the world/magic system and I loved that Grigg and Adelina were established as allies. I was sucked into this book from the very first page. This story picks up about one month after the conclusion of Heist of Hearts. I loved how connected our two main characters were after the events in the first book. I loved Grigg and Adelina’s sense of humor. The two of them together were incredibly entertaining. My favorite part of this story was the way they interacted with each other. The teasing and the banter were so fun to read.

E.A. Winters can tell a story! The magic system was so creative. It was fast paced and captivating. There were several plot twists that had me dropping my jaw. I loved seeing the title of the book in a quote. Something about that is extremely satisfying. And that ending!!! Oh, wow. Once again, I’m diving straight into book #3. I rarely do that these days. I like to switch things up and read something different between books in a series, but not today! I have to know what happens next!
