Adelina is cursed to kill anyone who loves her. Grigg is afflicted by a family curse that leaves anyone he loves destined to die. He’s an expert con man who has been tasked to acquire three hearts. If he fails, he dies. Grigg and Adelina are thrown together into a mess of curses and consequences and time is running out.

I really loved Heist of Hearts. The story was unlike anything I’ve read before. I was immediately sucked into the details of the story. Grigg and Adelina were fascinating characters, especially when they came together. I really enjoyed the ‘enemies to lovers’ thing they had going on. Their curses made it very interesting. There were shocking plot twists and an unbelievable ending that has me diving into the second book immediately.

This is the first book I’ve read by E.A. Winters. I loved it! I loved her writing style. She was very descriptive of the world and her characters were full of personality and wit. I was so entertained. The adventure was fast paced. I really enjoyed my time reading it. Absolutely loved Heist of Hearts! I will definitely be reading more from E.A. Winters.
