Cat Keene runs a small bed and breakfast on the Island of Sunset Harbor with her Uncle Otto. When she finds a large medical bill labeled ‘Final Notice,’ she panics. There is a possibility she could lose the only home she’s ever known. Despite her dislike for his entire family, Cat accepts a job opportunity with Billionaire, Noah Belacourt, in hopes to earn enough money to pay the bill and save the Bed and Breakfast.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is the second book in the Falling for Summer Series. Each book can be read as a standalone novel, but the character’s stories are interconnected. I thought this story would take place after Summer Ever After, but it took place at the same time, we were just focused on Cat and Noah instead of Jane and Walker. I thought that was a fun concept. This book even hints at some of the other characters and what their stories might be in the other books. I really enjoyed Cat and Noah’s characters. I loved that Cat is 100% herself and how Noah wants to be his true self with her. It seemed like we covered maybe a month and a half or 2 months-time with this story. Because of that, there were moments where we skipped ahead several days, or even a full week, when it seemed like we were in the middle of something important. It wasn’t a huge deal. I understand that’s what had to be done in order to cover that much time. But there was one situation in the book where there was so much potential for all the romantic cuteness and we just glossed over it… It could have been epic!!! And it was just a little side plot that ended with a few sentences covering about 3 days and then it was over. This is a minor complaint. I still really enjoyed the book and I liked the author enough to look into her other books. I’m sure I’ll read something else of hers. The Falling for Summer Series is shaping up to fill my summer with fun, clean romance!
