The serial killer isn’t on trial. He’s on the jury.

This book was amazing! It’s like Suits and Criminal Minds wrapped up together, put on steroids, and with a dash of Bull! And I LOVED every second of it!!!

Throughout the book, the lawyer character, Eddie Flynn, would discover different things, but it wasn’t revealed to the reader, and I loved that! It kept me guessing throughout the whole book. Right up until the very last page!

I really enjoyed how the book was told from two points of view. It was both from the lawyer, Eddie, and the serial killer, Joshua Kane. We get to hear from Eddie, who used to be a con man and has now turned to a lawyer, and Kane who is off killing people every chance he gets and has weasled his way into this jury. Brilliant!

After finishing I was eager to read another book by Steve Cavanagh, so naturally I googled him. With some light research, I have discovered that this is actually book number four in a series. Good news, I have a lot more books of his to read. Double bonus, you apparently don’t need to read them in order for them to make sense because this book wasn’t missing anything to me.

I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who loves a thriller!!
