Taylor is in love with her best friend, Weston. She kissed him back when they were thirteen, only to learn he didn’t feel the same. She won’t go down that road again. When Taylor breaks up with her boyfriend, Weston steps in to go on the twelve ‘holidates’ she had planned in hopes it will demonstrate how he feels about her.

There is nothing better than a Christmas Romance. It’s so magical! I really enjoyed this novella about best friends who have ‘secretly’ loved each other their whole friendship. It’s part of the Love Cliché series, and I haven’t read any of those… I thought this was a holiday stand alone. I didn’t even realize it was a novella until it showed up in my mailbox… At which point, I felt a little sad because you know how I feel about novellas. They are short, sweet, and to the point, but I really just wish they were a full-length novel when I read them. Same goes for this one. The story line was cute. There was love, there was Christmas, there was a crazy grandma. It was 84 pages and then it was over. I would love to see this as a full-length novel. I enjoyed the characters, I thought they were relatable and their situation as best friends was adorable. The Christmas cheer was pretty decent. It made me want to make my own list of Christmas holidates! Watch out husband;) Overall, I enjoyed reading The Twelve Holidates. I’m definitely interested in reading the series it’s a part of.
