Connie's mom is obsessed with posting their families every move online. When Connie’s mom and sister go out of town on a college road trip, the entire internet knows Connie is home alone.

This book is hours of my life that I will never get back. It had the potential to be so good, but instead it was so bad. Utterly stupid!

Let’s start with our main character Connie. She can’t make up her mind to save her life. One second she hates her mom and the vlogs and the next she is defending her. One moment she doesn’t want to stay home alone and the next she can’t wait to be alone in her home. And then, guess what? She’s freaked out all night that someone is going to break in and get her! The constant back and forth was so irritating. She's also an idiot. Who thinks it’s a good idea to chat with some stranger on the internet while also feeling like they are being stalked??? Connie, that’s who!

I was also confused throughout a good portion of the book because of the constant back and forth. I couldn’t decide if every character was so indecisive or if the author forgot what she had written a few paragraphs before. Everything was constantly changing.

Don’t even get me started on the ending! The motivation behind everything…stupid! The choice for the stalker…stupid! The way it ended…stupid! I am all for an open ended book, but this… no. This was not it.

Moral of the story, don’t waste your time on this one. I am really glad this was a library book and I am not stuck owning this thing myself. If I had bought this I wouldn’t in good conscience be able to donate it or put it in a free little library and subject someone else to its utter stupidity. It was a digital library book too, so I can’t even try and hide it inside the library where no poor unsuspecting soul would find it. 10/10 do not recommend!
