Christian has worked his entire life to take over his family’s company as CEO. He’s shocked when his dad hands him a contract requiring he get married before being able to take over. Roxy is doing everything she can to keep her new job and take care of her sixteen-year-old nephew. When Christian finds her in a weak moment, he realizes they could be the solution to each other’s problems.

I loved this book! The Backpack Bride was an adorable romance. Roxy is the main female character, and she was so easy to connect with. She was struggling with her situation but she was doing everything she could to be what her nephew needed. I couldn’t help but root for her. Christian was the main male lead, and he was genuinely kind and caring. And he was a billionaire. Who doesn’t love a nice billionaire? I loved how these two strangers came together to help each other out and ended up falling in love. There were some fun elements to the story. Roxy and Christian work together. Christian had a secret biker persona online and Roxy was a fan. I thought Christian’s biker friends/found family were really great. Especially Chantelle. I was excited to learn she has a book. I’ll be looking into that ASAP. I enjoyed the Christian themes (haha his name is Christian) and the overall happy feel of this story. I’ve read a few books by Dulcie Dameron and I’ve really enjoyed them all. I’d say I’m a fan! I’d highly recommend The Backpack Bride! I’m also excited to look into the other books in this collection.
