Hazel’s first impression of Peter is that he is arrogant and rude. As the Best Man to her best friend’s husband, you’d think he’d be friendly for at least a minute throughout all the wedding celebrations. A few weeks later, Hazel is shocked to see the man moving into the empty house across the street.

Snowed In on Valentine’s Day was a cute, clean romance. The story line was entertaining. I especially loved the whole ‘snowed in’ concept and the small-town setting. The new neighbor being the rude Best Man was perfect for a rom-com. That being said, I do have an issue with our main man, Peter. He was rude the whole time. Even after he decided he liked Hazel. Which I have no idea when that was since his temperament remained the same throughout the entire story… I was just as confused as Hazel was. In fact, I’m still confused about Peter. I also found the reason for his rude behavior to be a little lacking. I think this book could have been better if we read from both Hazel and Peter’s perspectives. The book had a lot of potential, I just feel like I would have liked it better if I understood Peter.
