Jamie and Parker work together at the Treemont Gazette. Jamie’s had a stressful year, but things always seem better when she’s around her ‘work bestie,’ Parker. When he starts to send mixed signals, Jamie starts to wonder if there could be more to their friendship. She must decide–is it worth the risk to find out?

Sign Me Up was an adorable book. I binge read 3/4ths of it when I should have gone to bed. I was only going to start. I read the first chapter and just kept going… The next thing you know, it was hours later and I had almost finished the entire book! I simply couldn’t stop. Jamie and Parker were such sweet characters. They were real humans with real human struggles and I loved reading their story. I really enjoyed Parker’s master plan to get Jamie to think of him as more than a friend. His chapters were really fun to read. I thought the author portrayed the communication between Parker and Jamie with sign language in a very effective way. I have very limited experience with people who use sign language, but I found it easy to imagine Jamie and Parker communicating this way. I also loved that Jamie wrote a book review blog in her spare time. How fun is that?!? Wink, wink;) This is the first book in the Kissing a Kent Brother series. Obviously, I highly recommend it! Side note, there are some fall elements to the story. They go to a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and there is a Halloween Party, but it’s not really a book full of fall vibes. I’d give it a 2/5 for Fall Feels.
