Paisley is working on a hit piece about Noah’s hockey team. But once she meets Noah, she may have to change her mind about hockey.

Well needless to say, I was not loving it. For starters, it’s a novella. Did I know that going in? No. Should I have probably checked? Yes. I’m already not a fan of a book that’s just straight up romance and no other plot, and when you make it a novella, it makes that fifty times worse. I could probably count the number of scenes in the book that were just Paisley or just Noah, not them together, on one hand.

Along with this book being very insta lovey, which I don’t like, the hockey accuracy was not there, which I find to be very annoying. For example… Paisley tells us she likes to stand right behind the penalty box to take pictures. That way she can secretly take selfies of herself with the backs of the players as they sit on the bench. And she can eavesdrop on what the coaches are saying. Well my friends, I hate to break it to you, but the penalty box and the players bench are on the opposite sides of the rink! I know it really doesn’t matter in the long run. It just annoys me.

Would I recommend this book? Not really. But remember, me no likey novellas or insta love. If that’s your jam, this is the book for you.
