Laney is a veterinarian in a small town. One of her favorite dog parents is Adam. He runs a dog rescue not too far from town. After the two get to know each other better, Laney is shocked to find out that Adam is Deke Driscoll, her favorite member of her favorite Boyband, Midnight Rush.

My sisters and I have bonded over our love for a few boy bands over the years. In fact, I’d say we still bond over them to this day. My One Direction loving heart could not read this book fast enough! I’m pretty sure I was smiling the entire time I read this. Once Upon a Boyband was such a fun story. I loved the characters, especially Laney and Adam. Laney was 100% herself and I absolutely love that in a female lead. Adam was exactly what you’d hope your favorite boyband member would be like in real life. You know, if he was in hiding and running a dog rescue… The side characters were so much fun in the story as well. The whole thing was like a dream come true, a modern fairy tale of sorts. It was more than just a love story though. There is an emotional depth to the story. The writing was fantastic. It was fun and entertaining, all while incorporating more serious themes. I loved seeing Flint and Perry Hawthorne make an appearance (from the Hawthorne Brothers series) and the mention of the Appies. If you’ve ever loved a boyband, you will love this book! Can’t wait to read Freddie’s story next!
