This story takes place after My Phony Valentine and features Poppy’s sister, Eloise. Eloise is a ray of sunshine everywhere she goes. She can’t help it. It’s just who she is. She is in need of a job and an interesting opportunity presents itself. The Chicago Comets Hockey Team would like to hire her to be an ‘assistant’ to one of their players. A particularly cranky and ornery player. Who needs a major attitude adjustment. Good thing Eloise loves a challenge.

Hours of sleep were lost due to this book. I could not make myself put it down even though I knew I needed to. No regrets though… Eloise’s positivity was so much fun to read. Just like the first book, I found myself smiling as I read it. There was a twist to the story that I didn’t see coming and I absolutely loved it! This book was so binge-able. I may or may not have finished it within a 24-hour period… St. Patrick’s Day is mentioned a few times, but it’s not a main part of the story so I think this is a great read for any time of year. I would highly recommend it!
