Celaena has won the competition at the castle and is now the King’s Champion. She must do everything she can to appear loyal to him or she risks the lives of those she cares for most.

There was so much that happened in this book. I feel like it took me some time to get through it all but the ending was so good that I didn’t mind. I love how much faith the guys have in Celaena and her abilities. I don’t want to give too much away so I’ll be a little vague here but there was one part where the Captain of the Guard realizes that Celaena is going to take on a bunch of guys all at once and he feels bad for them! I thought that was awesome. The ending was crazy. My jaw actually dropped. I highly recommend.
