Racheal has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Max, since forever. Too bad he’s never felt that way about her. Or at least that’s what she thinks.

This was an adorable Christmas read! Who doesn’t love a good friends to lovers storyline? As soon as I started reading, I was hooked and had this sucker read in about three days. The will they, won’t they of it all had me saying “Oh, just one more chapter and then I’ll go to bed.”

I loved that they had their Christmas tradition of going to their familys’ cabin every year. I also loved that Max’s mom goes all out decorating the cabin with a different theme. That just sounds so fun to have it be different each year.

I also must acknowledge that the book shouted out both Twilight and Jake Peralta. Now if you don’t know who Jake Peralta is, I feel bad for you. You are missing out on the pure comedy gold of Brooklyn 99. Anywho, those shoutouts made my day!

As far as Christmas spirit goes this book gets 5/5 Christmas trees. We get all the Christmas activities: cabin trips, sledding, cookie decorating, caroling, and more! I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a cute Christmas read!
