After a quick trip to the restroom on her way out of the library, Autumn realizes she has been locked inside. Her friends have left for a weekend getaway at one of their cabins, but one of them should notice she’s not there, right? Someone will come back for her. When she thinks things could not get worse, she realizes she’s not alone in the library. Dax Miller, a loner with a bit of a reputation, is also stuck inside.

I love this book. First of all, being locked inside the library over the weekend is brilliant. Love that idea for a book. Kinda love that idea for real life… Second, Dax’s character is pretty much my favorite type of character for a high school romance. Put the two of these things together and you’ve got a young adult romance that I simply could not resist. Obviously, the romance was adorable. But I also appreciated the depth to the story and the lessons showcased within. I love how Kasie West can tackle important topics in her books without making it overwhelming or too serious. Overall, this was a fun book to read and I really enjoyed it. I’d recommend it for teens especially, as well as any readers who enjoy high school romances.
