I can’t lie. I have to tell you that the third book (As Good As Dead) ruined the whole series for me. And I loved the first one! I’m the kind of person who feels guilty for not finishing a book so I have to have a pretty good reason for quitting. And the reason I couldn’t finish this book (without giving away too much) is that it majorly creeped me out. The back of the book tells you that Pip has a stalker so I feel like I can tell you that much. The events that take place maybe a little more than halfway through the book is where I had to call it quits. The descriptions of these events were so incredibly detailed! I couldn’t handle it. I closed the book and looked up the spark notes to see how the story played out. I did want to know how it ended but I just couldn’t read it. I got rid of the books and never watched the show on Netflix like I was looking forward to.
