Gracie Mitchell swore she’d never date another hockey player. How is it that she ended up living next door to Felix Jamison, goaltender for the Harvest Hollow Appies? Naturally, she pays him little attention, especially when his teammates “accidentally” knock on her door instead of his. Repeatedly. When a plumbing issue in her apartment leads to spending time with Felix, she begins to wonder if she was wrong.

Absolutely Not in Love was absolutely adorable. I loved continuing the series with another member of the Appies Hockey Team. Felix is a little on the quiet side. He likes to spend time at home, reading books from his personal library and listening to classical music. Gracie is an orchestra teacher and musician. She plays the cello. And she thinks she knows all she needs to about Felix. It was cute to read Gracie’s change of heart when it came to her hockey playing neighbor. I am a fan of a forced proximity situation and I enjoyed the way our characters came together. Overall, I loved the characters in this book (hooray for more Appies!). I loved the sports vibes, the little bit of fall vibes, and the sweet romance. I also enjoyed the character connections to another series by Jenny Proctor. I’m quickly becoming a huge fan of the Appies! I highly recommend reading Absolutely Not in Love. This is #2 in The Appies series, as well as part of the Sweater Weather Collection. I would recommend reading it after the first Appies book, but this could be read as a standalone.
