Wes and Ivy have a complicated past. They can’t seem to resist each other despite the fact that they do not bring out each other’s best qualities. They’ve continually broken up and reconnected over the years. They never expected their latest connection to dredge up something so horrible from their past.

This book was so good! The suspense and mystery kept me guessing until the very last page. Once again, Downing has weaved together an incredibly crazy story with all the tiny little pieces coming together so well in the end. I was on the edge of my seat and I love the way the book ended. The story jumped around a little bit between the present timeline and the past so there were small glimpses into the history of our characters throughout the book. I really enjoyed the past and present timeline as well as the points of view from both Ivy and Wes, and a few other characters. I feel like I was able to understand them and their wild behavior a little bit and I felt personally invested in the story because of that. A Twisted Love Story kept me guessing and caught me off guard. The chapters were short so it felt like I was cruising through the book. I won’t say anything more to prevent giving anything away. If you like any of Samantha Downing’s other books, you’ll like this one!
